Having worked for over four decades in education, youth, and community work, Clive has decided to step aside and support others.
Clive spent 32 years in primary education, 16 as head teacher of a large urban primary school. From there, he moved on to lead the Association of Christian Teachers for England and served as Development Manager for Springs Family Centre. In more recent years, he has concentrated solely on running Springs Family Centre, moving it forward from a small organisation to a medium-sized charity. The charity now runs six days a week, serving a diverse community and specialising in youth work. Clive moved on from Springs Family Centre in October 2025.
He currently serves as a member of the Lords and Commons Family and Child Protection Group. Additionally, he is an Ambassador for Northamptonshire Community Foundation, a governor of a primary school, and a trustee of MJR (Movement for Justice and Reconciliation).
His skillset includes commenting on education matters, fundraising, community cohesion, and striving to get the best possible offer and provision for young people.
Now, as a freelance consultant, he hopes to use the skills he has learned to benefit others more widely. This includes providing advice and support to organisations and challenging those in authority to make provisions for those most in need.
